Review Ethics Statement
Our goals with a review
I always aim to educate consumers about everything they need to know when buying a paddle. This includes the good and the bad. Paddles can be very expensive, and for some people, this is one of the only investments they want to make. We may not be able to cover every single nuance of a paddle in our 1-2 week play testing, but I always do my best to thoroughly test a paddle and give you an honest, unbiased review so that you can make an educated decision on whether it is worth it for you or not.
How do we obtain my paddles for review?
Manufacturers send us paddles, but no company is ever guaranteed a review. The simple fact is that there are far too many paddles coming into the market for a single reviewer to be able to keep up with reviews for all of them.
So, every company is told they may send us a paddle for review, but that does not guarantee them a review or mention of the product.
We choose to review/talk about what you the community are frequently requesting or what we think are interesting paddles and people want to know more about.
Do we accept paid paddle reviews?
Pickleball Studio has never accepted money for a review of a paddle and we don’t plan to do that in the future. While we do receive commissions on a paddle sale when you choose to use our links/codes for a purchase, we ONLY make money if you choose to make a purchase with those links/codes. No money is ever given to us to complete a review.
We have codes with nearly every manufacturer in the business, so reviews are not dictated by whether we have a link/code.
Disclosure
If a product review (outside of paddles) is ever sponsored, we will ALWAYS disclose that information. While Pickleball Studio currently has no sponsors and rarely takes any form of sponsored content, we want you to know that it will always be clearly disclosed.
